I was "super"-honored to be a part of the prestigious Microsoft MVP Event held in November. It made a lot of sense to create superheroes to represent different the heroics of these Most Valuable Professionals.

First I made 4 different superhero characters with the help of past MVP winners.

Next we created 5 comic book pages to be projected on the walls of the event. Each scenario shows that superhero's unique ability to save or help developers, app users, BDMs, etc. in need.

The night of the event I finally experienced the true scope and application of the work done to create such an amazing event. My comics and characters projected over hundreds of feet across the venue walls was something I have never experienced. And since I haven't been to see Laser Cat project my art - this will do for now.

I actually spent the evening working/painting the comic book cover originally created in vector. About a 1000 people partying behind me was a reminder that I was part of the performance of the show. A little nerve racking, but an experience worth having.

Next I was surprised by a visit from Captain Cloud himself!

All in all, it was a night to remember. It's a wonderful experience to see my illustrations come to life (quite literally in some cases) and be a part of the intended experience.
